BEARTEX, the Berkeley Texture Package Version 1.03 12.31.1997 BEARDEMO is a demonstration version of BEARTEX with two running programs (WIMV: ODF and POXX: display), windows for all programs to illustrate capabilities and on-line help with descriptions. Read in online help section on Installation (p.4) before running program. 4 files are on my ftp site in Berkeley and can be retrieved (instructions below) BEARDEMO.ZIP BEARDOC.ZIP BEARDEMO.TXT (this message) PKUNZIP.EXE - Connect from your ftp site to seismo.berkeley.edu - logon "anonymous" - password: your e-mail address - cd outgoing/rwenk (UNIX is case sensitive!) - download (using binary transfer) (get) BEARDEMO.ZIP, BEARDOC.ZIP, BEARDEMO.TXT and if needed PKUNZIP.EXE - BEARDOC.DOC can be viewed and printed from MS Word for Windows. - transfer the file BEARDEMO.ZIP to your PC into a temporary directory and extract compressed files with PKUNZIP. Delete BEARDEMO.ZIP. - copy all files of BEARDEMO.ZIP onto one 1.44 Mb diskette. They should fit. - now in Windows 3.0 or higher, Windows 95 or Windows NT in program manager, FILE, RUN a:setup.
