Here are instructions on how to download and install BEARTEX from an ftp site
Read in online HELP section on INSTALLATION before running program.


Also keyboard must be set to US.

BEARTEX.DOC and BEARTEX.RTF are BEARTEX manuals in Word for Windows which can be printed
Connect your computer for ftp binary to seismo
download the files bear2000.cab, setup.lst, setup.exe, bearinst.txt
copy the files on a CD ROM or a zip disk for backup
install Beartex2000 into any desired directory by double-clicking setup.exe
rename temp.new into temp.pif (you may need to change properties)
Set keyboard to US.
Only a few programs will run (WIMV, POXX).
Go to HELP ABOUT to get serial number and send it to wenk@seismo.berkeley.edu.
You will get a registration number. Enter it under REGISTER.
