INS file

The file name.ins should be consistent with the PLATON syntax. It should at least contain a CELL line (corresponding to file name.hkl without transformation matrix) and the absorption coefficient (given by an ABST or ABSG card). If a crystal description was measured, it should be given with the corresponding FACE cards. Please be aware that the FACE distances and the absorption coefficient should be given in the same units (we recommend millimeters).

Example:

TITL Example
CELL 0.71073 7.0 8.0 9.0 90.0 93.5 90.0
FACE 1 0 0 0.15
