2.0 - CIF files in WinGX

The following CIF files are all created by WinGX processes as the analysis proceeds.
  1. STRUCT.CIF - written by INITIALISE FILES - basic information about the crystal, space group, colour etc.
  2. DREDUC.CIF - details of the data reduction process (XCAD4 or PROFIT)
  3. STDANAL.CIF - details of the standard analysis program STDANAL
  4. name.CIF - the main CIF dealing with refinement details - written by SHELXL using the ACTA command
  5. ABSORB.CIF - details of absorption corrections (also DIFABS.CIF, PSI_SCAN.CIF, XABS2.CIF, SHELXA.CIF)
  6. ARCHIVE.CIF - the CIF containing the complete details of the structural analysis. Also CIFDOC.CIF - a document CIF suitable for submission to Acta. Cryst, and CIFDEP.CIF - a CIF for deposition with the CCDC.
