Hydrogenous materials and powder neutron diffraction.
Structural phase transitions in framework materials and their influences on physical properties.
Isotope substitution in powder neutron diffraction using isotope contrast methods.
In-situ chemical and engineering materials processing.

Responsibilities

Co-responsible for the 2-axis high-flux powder neutron diffractometer D20
Local contact for experiments in diffraction (structure and magnetism) using the powder instrument suite at ILL (D20, D2B, D1A and D1B)
