This is a small command-line driven program (32-bit versions of Windows) that manipulates NMR spectra that were exported by Bruker's WinNMR or XWinNMR in JCAMP-DX format. Generally, the referencing in these Bruker files will not be correct. DXFIX attempts to fix this.
Problems in referencing of Bruker JCAMP-DX files are notable when these spectra are viewed with viewers from different vendors or using some of the available JCAMP-DX viewer plugins for web browsers (e.g. MDL's Chime or the viewer from Mona).
Usage:
in a DOS window, type DXFIX filename, where filename specifies the path to the JCAMP-DX file.
The program will try to "fix" the file. We put the quotation marks around "fix" because the resulting
file will not be readable by Bruker software anymore! But that is a consequence of the broken implementation
of the JCAMP-DX standard in that software.
