  • The LaboTex software is the Windows 95/98/NT tool for complex and detailed analysis of crystallographic textures. The program performs in user friendly form the different calculations and graphic analysis of Orientation Distribution Function (ODF), Pole Figures (PFs) and Inverse Pole Figures (IPFs). The Main Advantage of the Program: - ODF calculation by ADC method with the ghost correction; - ODF free from truncation errors of the series; - ODF calculation using both types of experimental data : pole figures or sets of individual orientations (EBSD); - ODF, PF and IPF data measured, calculated and presented in a wide range of grid cells: 1x1, 1.2x1.2, 1.25x1.25, 1.5x1.5, 2x2, 2.5x2.5, 3x3, 3.75x3.75, 5x5, 6x6, 7.5x7.5, 10x10 degrees; - texture analysis of all types of sample symmetry; - texture analysis for materials of all types of crystal lattice symmetry; - 2D and 3D graphic presentation of ODFs , PFs and IPFs; - simple on-line identification of the orientations, giving its parameters in Euler angles and Miller indices; - creation of additional pole figures and inverse pole figures; - orientation data base (optionaly collected by the user); - on-line qualitative analysis; - quantitative texture analysis of volume fraction of texture components (orientations); - rotations and symmetrizations of experimental pole figures; - symmetrizations of Orientation Distribution Function; - plotting graphics on a wide range of mono and colour printers; - passing graphical objects to other Windows applications by a clipboard; - management of data and results collecting them for users, symmetries, projects, samples and jobs. - free of charge accomodation of the Software to the Customer data format

  • POFINT is a MS-DOS based program developed in Turbo-Pascal. It provides simple tools for pole figure interpretation and corrections, file transformations for many experimental purposes, and without having necessity to work with large exploitation systems: 1 - Summation of intensities for normalisation; 2 - Poles uncertainties after corrections; 3 - Angle calculations between (hkl) and {h'k'l'} planes, and multiples; 4 - X-ray absorption coefficients and penetration depth; 5 - Defocusing curves: modifications for thin films, multilayers, fluorescence ...; 6 - File transformations (Dubna, ILL, Berkeley, LPEC, LLB, Mossbauer ...; 7 - Intensity corrections; 8 - Difference pole figures; 9 - Reliability factors

    • "TexturePlus calculates the texture profile of a specimen using two x-ray scans obtained from the specimen using a powder x-ray diffractometer The specimen texture is assumed to be axisymmetric, with specific crystal planes preferentially aligned normal to a particular specimen axis The two x-ray scans are - a -2 scan of a Bragg peak from the textured planes - a scan, or rocking curve, with the diffractometer set at the angle of the Bragg peak The program can calculate the effect of a 2-offset on a Bragg peak, and can also simulate rocking curves based on the March-Dollase function Various data about the Bragg peak (such as 22, FWHM, integral breadth, background level, etc.) are calculated and can be written to a log file for further analysis .
