Using Platon to Import CIF Based FCF files for output into HKL files

PLATON can read both .hkl and .fcf but only "System S" will write a .hkl when an .fcf is imported.

(ASYM-VIEW is run using a .cif + .fcf)

Thus just use the following command to import the FCF data:

s filename.fcf

As this presently only works on the UNIX version of Platon (which has System S), you can use Louis Farrugia's WinGX for Windows to do the above on a Windows PC under the Model, Import menu options.

For importing CIF files to output into Shelx *.RES files, just run platon filename.cif and output into Shelx *.RES file using the main Platon menu command. (Platon for DOS and WinGX also have the ability to do this)
